Summer Intensive Ballet Programme, to be held in London, at Sadler's Wells Theater 12-24 August 2019.
Master of Ballet Academy (MOBA) is running a non-residential summer school, one week or two-weeks long for girls and boys, aged 8 -19 years old. MOBA Intensive Courses are designed for advanced dance students and offer an excellent ballet training while exploring other aspects of the wider world of dance.
Students will have the opportunity to work with some of the World’s most famous Ballet Masters, and benefit from their experience dancing in the great opera houses around the world, which will prepare them for a potential professional career.

Summer Courses
Students will be placed into one of four different classes (Foundation, Junior, Middle, and Senior). Attention will be given to developing each student by focusing on their strengths and talents.

Foundation Class
Students: 8-9/10 years old
One week course: £300
Two-week course: £500
2hours/day: 12- 2 pm:
30 min Ballet Flexibility, 1-hour Ballet, and 30 min Historical Dance/ Contemporary Dance/Character Dance.
Junior Class
Students: 11-12/13 years old
Grading: 6-7
Middle Class
Students: 13-14/15 years old
Grading: Pre Intermediate/Intermediate
Senior Class
Students: 15-19 years old
Grading: Advanced 1/2, Professional
Fees for Junior, Middle and Senior Class
One week course: £475
(First week: 10 am - 5 pm)
Two-week course: £750
(First week:10 am - 5 pm; second week: 10 am - 4 pm)
On Friday, 16th August, parents will be invited to stand by and watch students work. At the end of the course, on Saturday 24th August, parents and guests will be invited to a Showcase at the Lilian Baylis Studio.
Curriculum
Ballet technique; Virtuosity/Solo for girls and boys; Pointe; Character Dance; Historical Dance (Foundation and Juniors); Acting for Ballet (Pre-Seniors); Pas de Deux (Seniors); Contemporary Ballet; Floor Barre/Stretching.
Lessons are accompanied by live piano.

Elena Glurdjidze - former Lead Principal of English National Ballet, Best Female Dancer Awards.
Olga Semenova: currently teaching at Central School of Ballet. Former ballet teacher at the Vaganova Ballet Academy and Ballet Mistress of European Ballet, New English Ballet Company, Honorary Member of Association of Russian Ballet & Theater Arts, Honorary Advisory of Vaganova Method at Hong Kong Youth Ballet Academy.
Guest Teachers
Galina Enikeeva: Head Teacher of Junior Ballet Classes at the Vaganova Ballet Academy and coach of stage practice for students at the Mariinsky Theater.
Meelis Pakri: Former ballet teacher at the Royal Ballet Upper School, Former Principal at the Estonian National Ballet (Tallinn), and the Colorado Ballet (USA). Guest teacher at Estonian National Ballet and other schools. Currently teaching at The Harid Conservatory (USA).
Sara Knight: Artistic Director of SLK (New York), Co-Founder of the Greenwich Ballet Academy (USA), former guest Soloist and teacher at Boston Ballet Company (USA), former guest Soloist of Northern Ballet Theater (UK).
Our goal is to give the best experience to our students. They will be placed into specific groups, by the Artistic Directors, in order to achieve the maximum benefit individually and as a group. The decision will be taken based on the student's ability, suitability for the group and training requirements, and age.
Assignments to groups must be accepted by the students and their partners/guardians. Any changes can only be made during the course by the Artistic Directors at their sole discretion.
All students will receive a Certificate of Completion, signed by the teachers.

How to Apply
Please send the application form completed and an audition video (no longer than 3 minutes) to olga@mastersofballetacademy.com, showing any ballet variation, any combinations from ballet class contemporary or lyrical dances. Girls >= 13 years old must show Ballet Variation/Combination on point in their audition video.
Applicants may choose to attend for one week only or for the full two-week course, subject to availability. Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received. Please refer your preference in the application email.

Once a place has been offered it will be held for 14 days. If the course fee is not received by then, the place may be offered to another student. Details of how payment can be made will be sent out with the offer of a place.
